Samsung Galaxy S20+ G986 Grey

In February of 2020, Samsung launched a new high-end line with three models. The Galaxy S20+ is the middle one. It is not the successor to the Galaxy S10+, but to the regular S10. This phone has nice specifications, such as a large screen and a powerful processor.

It has a 6.7-inch display. On the back, there are four cameras that allow you to take beautiful photos. The processor is from Exynos and makes sure that the heaviest apps can be used effortlessly.

Large and bright screen

This grey Samsung smartphone has a large screen with a size of 6.7 inches. This is also a lot larger than its predecessor, because that had a display of 6.1 inches. It is an AMOLED panel with a high resolution, so that images are clear and vivid.

A special feature of this device is that it has a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This means that everything is refreshed faster when there is movement, making scrolling smoother. At the top of the display, there is a hole, or punch hole, in which the selfie camera is integrated.

High-end casing

This device looks very nice. The grey casing is, just like the display, made of Gorilla Glass. This ensures that the phone is less prone to scratches. The screen has sloping edges on the sides. Besides that, there is no 3.5mm port on this smartphone.

Fast charging

This S20+ in Cosmic Gray has a large battery. This is handy, because then you can be sure that you can get through the day without having to charge in between. It also uses fast charging, so the battery is full again in no time.

Excellent camera setup with four cameras

This smartphone comes with very nice cameras. The main camera has a resolution of 64 megapixels so that you can capture everything in clear focus. Besides that, it has a wide-angle lens. This allows you to capture more of your subject, which is useful for a large group of people or a landscape.

It uses the Exynos 9830 chip. This processor was developed by Samsung itself and delivers very powerful performance. So you can use the heaviest apps without any problems. Think of 3D games. Besides that, it has 12GB of RAM where it stores data from active apps.

IP68 certification

This Samsung Galaxy S20+ has an IP68 certification. This means that the phone is water resistant. However, be aware that this protection can diminish over time due to damage, such as cracks in the screen or casing, and wear and tear.

5G support

With this smartphone you are prepared for the future, because it has support to connect to the 5G network. This is the successor to 4G and is even faster, so you can surf the net at lightning speed. This is not yet active everywhere, but it will be rolled out in the coming years.

Android 11

This top device runs on Android 11. On top of this, there is a jacket from Samsung, called One UI. This is a so-called skin on top of the operating system, which makes the layout look a bit different. There are also a number of extra apps pre-installed on the phone.
